After more than 30 years of civil war, ending in 1998, the Cambodian government destroyed 125,000 weapons across the country.
Some of these weapons, however, have been donated to the PAPC (Peace Art Project Cambodia) and are sculpted, forged or welded into artworks by student artists. Birds, flowers, even an elephant, are some of their creations.
